Because of the volatility of some of the topics that will be under discussion my address and phone number will not be listed on this site. I live in the United States with my husband and two children. We have a dog and a 16 year old cockatoo that rules the house, I think our house has an invisible sign over it that only animals can see that says "SUCKER!" as every stray within a hundred mile radius shows up!
I do not have any specific religious affiliation as I feel that many of the world's religions have much to offer and to deny others is to limit oneself to much. So don't be surprised if in one article I have a quote from one religion, then in another a quote from one that is completely different! Gandhi summed it up perfectly when he said "Though we may know Him by a thousand names, He is one and the same to us all". There is a difference between being a spiritual person and a religious one. The few people I have met in my life that are both amaze and astound me with their power and purity. Being able to separate the spiritual aspects of ones religion from the man inspired doctrine is a gift that I have yet to develop.
Occasionally I'll also post some different things that come to my attention that I really liked. Some quotes with links back to their origination, some of the neat stuff I get in my e-mail and eventually I'll have a jokes section. I love jokes. If everyone could take just ten minutes out of the day for a really GOOD laugh the world would be a better place.
